You can try(just to be on the safe side when upgrading) to copy & save your user favorites folder to an external device, and export your IE settings also there.

What I did was disconnect all three of my computers from the internet so IE syncing could not mess up the repair. I then deleted on the empty Favorites folders from the corrupted computer. I went into one of the other computers and exported an IE Favorites file to a flash drive and then moved the flash drive to the corrupted IE 11. I imported the favorites from the flash drive and IE was repaired with good Favorites. I then reconnected all three computers to the internet. Problem solved.

Have found that Edge blocks cookies by default on my two different e-mail suppliers, Virgin and Sky, so impossible to open.
Have given permissions, see attachment but no success......IE allows me access to them.

Yeah, as much as I hate 'em, cookies make it much more convenient for sites I subscribe to.

Further to my above post cookies in this version W10 can no longer be controlled in Internet options but in Edge settings.
Click on 3 dots top r/hand for settings, then view Advanced Settings to find.
The strange thing is even with Cookies Blocked I can open everything apart from my e-mail providers.
Don't block cookies solves the problem. block only third party cookies in conjunction with IE managed websites as shown in my last post also work.

    Glitches Before Restart

    Fafhrd said: View Post
I've noticed that with some of the Insider builds since October that a few features require "a few restarts" after a build update, to settle down to normal expected behaviour - the "missing right-click" resolution, for instance, was not immediate, then later, it suddenly started to act normally.
I've had that issue with every in-place upgrade (not clean install).

W10 finishes the upgrade and displays the desktop, but there is always some random (minor) glitch.
A restart usually fixes any of the unannounced glitches.

I expect that b11099 will continue this pattern once it appears.

For users of Edge cookies are blocked by default in this latest insider version.
If as I have found some webpages are unobtainable....In Settings you can alter this.
Choose "Block only 3rd party cookies".....as Don't block cookies allows eavesdropping and loading of ads.

Anyone who could explain this to me, a 32 bit 11099 Pro on an Intel Compute Stick which I use as a bedroom HTPC shows this on every cold boot. Funny thing is it is always shown with about 10 minute delay, around 10 minutes after I've booted to desktop:

Everything works perfectly, even Windows Store, I cannot find any issues this message could be referring to.
