Microsoft has recently revealed that Windows 10 was running on 200 million devices across the world, explaining that adoption of the new operating system goes much better than it did in the case of Windows 7 or 8.

But it's very important to note that this 200 million figure concerns devices, and not PCs, as Microsoft is also offering Windows 10 for Xbox One consoles and smartphones.

Citing sources close to the matter, Microsoft watcher Mary Jo Foley has said in a recent podcast that, out of these 200 million devices running Windows 10, no less than 180 million are PCs. And it's no surprise here. Windows 10 was launched on PCs more than 5 months ago and it is offered as a free upgrade to those running Windows 7 or 8.1.

    (They're not all mine BTW)

The 'four of a kind' are 630, 635, 640XL & 640. They're all on 10.0.10586.36 though because I got fed up with waiting for the public release. It seems stable so I'm not sure why they're holding back, the only problem I've come across is the second language keyboard wouldn't download (it just kept saying 'Attention Required'), but that's since been sorted.

If anyone's interested, the carry case in the middle is a Go Travel Passport Wallet (non RFID blocking), and the strap is an unravelled Paracord Bracelet tied with a double fisherman's knot, as the standard strap was a bit short over winter jumpers.
