The screenshot I showed was from my 64-bit Win 10 Home.

For some reason, this update wiped out all of my "Frequently Visited Websites" on my Start page. No big deal, but not what you'd expect from a company that's been building browsers since the 1990's. Are we sure that Microsoft doesn't contract out a lot of software work to 3rd party start-ups? I see these type of Mickey Mouse errors frequently in situations where contractors are involved.
Once this update had been installed, an old educational software based on flash player 9 ax stopped functioning properly, instead it just hangs now, no matter which compatibility mode I use. Re-installing the software AND flash player 9 ax did not help
This update prevented the latest version of HP Solution Center from starting despite doing a complete re-install of the HP software. Deleting the update allowed HP Solution Center to work again. Anyone have any idea why? And how risky is not installing the update? And can I prevent it automatically re-installing?
