Ah yes, thank you for your observation, I have already done that before cleaning with Wise. It showed me plenty of Registry keys. Some of them I understood -- they were from programs I have uninstalled. Others I did not recognize. I have run it anyway, though. I am always using Revo Uninstaller PRO, as well.
I always prefer to err on the side of caution - Experience has taught me that if you do not understand something, you have two three options ...
- Do nothing
- Investigate thoroughly and only then act if appropriate
- Do it anyway

The orange stuff is what Wise thinks is unsafe to delete so it won't delete these automatically.
Mostly these are keys create by software installations ran from an external device that's no longer present, file types it's unaware of (like MR Free) etc.
Either way by clicking the category you can see what the keys point to and decide what action to take.
It is normal for some keys to be recreated by Windows so I would not worry about these.

So, you mean that on my first screenshot, for example, where Wise found 203 problems, which all appear in orange font color, those 203 are considered as un-safe? Because that screenshot shows that Wise considered just 1 as unsafe. Anyway, no problem, I have already cleaned my system twice with Wise, I am still using it, and it will have no issues, I am sure.
If I may elaborate, this [solid] certainty of a non-problematic system of mine, derives from two fundamental factors:
1) Quality, well maintained, components which have proved their value over time (see my System_Specs)
2) The fact that after all this time, I ended up using a few programs (applications) with which I am performing every task I can imagine, on my Home computer.
Finally, due to my 125% custom scaling, some text in Wise is cut off, even in full screen. No problem.

When you click on any of those round icins after a scan, parts that program deems as dangerous are in orange and are not marked for fixing. If you clean anyway those orange ones will not be touched.

@CountMike: Exactly. You can find the backups of the deleted keys in "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Wise Registry Cleaner\backup"
Furthermore upon first use the program will suggest to make either a full backup of the registry (which I let it make) or to create a "System restore Point" (which I do not use).

I'm still looking at it, just did a scan but there are also some interesting features for optimizing system of which some I use regularly but more manual way. Just may save time with all those things that are changed with every build and I'm sometimes too lazy to do myself. That may be more useful than registry optimization.Hi,
