Is there a Chinese version, which is easier for me to understand?

What software/app do you use for "deep reg cleaning". Tx
I use Wise's Registry Cleaner which I feel is very good and free.

I don't know that but it's used in physics to describe some phenomena. In this contest it would mean "If there's a cat in a closed box (probably sleeping because it's quiet), you'll newer know if it's dead or alive until you open the box".

    Hi,
@Matthew Wai: Give it a try. I've been using it for years and never had any problems using it.
I also use their Disk Cleaner which is equally good and far more effective than Windows own Disk Clean Up.

To me Ccleaner is fine but pretty useless for what I want.

Oh, that's an easy one - Jolt Cola.

As for registry cleaning - one of my systems came second hand. Deep cleansing with AdwCleaner/Malwarebytes was required (I didn't want to loose the installed software) followed by a CCleaner registry clean with all the stops pulled out. No apparent harm was done, the original OEM Win7 is now happily upgraded to the Creators Update.

My other system had a factory reset to its OEM Win7 and was then progressively upgraded through all versions of Win10, now running 1703. I've never cleaned its registry. That's running fine too.

I'm using CCleaner PRO, it is the second application I install after every clean installation of Windows 10. I am running it multiple times per day and its Registry cleaner settings are all selected. I never had any issue with it on Windows 10, neither on Windows 7 back when I was using them. Besides the (very nice) feeling of keeping my Registry clean, personally I have observed a snappier, more responsive, system after a Registry clean. It surprises me that it feels like this even right after a clean installation!...

Thanks for your suggestion! I gave it a try -- mainly because I'll soon clean-install the Creators Update.

Right after a Deep Scan, before cleaning. Also shown is CCleaner PRO and what it found on my system:

In the following screenshot you can see the results of Wise's Deep scan after I've already run it twice and rebooted twice. It still finds "23 problems". I think that those are not problems, my Registry just recreates these values.

Even though I've only rebooted a couple of times, and I have not used my system, Wise seems like a nice application and I will, most probably, start using it.

    Thank you.

Before you hit Clean button, check just what those errors are and what it's supposed to clean or fix.

    Hi,

The orange stuff is what Wise thinks is unsafe to delete so it won't delete these automatically.
Mostly these are keys create by software installations ran from an external device that's no longer present, file types it's unaware of (like MR Free) etc.
Either way by clicking the category you can see what the keys point to and decide what action to take.
It is normal for some keys to be recreated by Windows so I would not worry about these.

    Cheers,
