No progress bar.

Yeah.......What a nuisance. Hopefully it's just an oversight on MS' part and not deliberate.

I wonder what G is thinking with this build 11082 with no progress bar release to Insider too soon ? bad QA dept there ? otherwise Build 11082 runs solid after I nuke my pc then clean install 10586 then via WU update to 11082.

So far 1512 - 11082 rs1 is working fine here even though the winver image shows it as 1511 -11082 IOW if you look at the registry current vers. build string it's 12/15 ( Dec 2015) OS 11082 redstone 1

Man,

I call Windows 10 the everlasting beta. Always something to fix. Always issues.

Windows XP got 3 service packs before becoming one of the most stable OS. Then Win 7 also went through a major upgrades but indeed up to be a great O/S. I liked 8.1

I like 10 but would like to have a fully stable OS fully 4K compatible without eternally being a lab rat

Well no one can beat windows ME. The most expensive Frisbee ever made.

Hi,

I call Windows 10 the everlasting beta.

My main gripe with all that is that they just don't seem to listen to anybody and keep on carrying over the same errors from one build to another.

I'm starting to suspect they do it on purpose......Wait a minute....Sounds like a good business plan, doesn't it ?

Tomcat, I dual boot and it came across just fine for me on the desktop. I created a bootable flash drive and clean installed on Lappy since I needed to take her on the road.

Both machines doing fine.

Can you give me the path to that part of the registry? I can't seem to find it on Lappy.
