Windows 10 Users Give Up on Edge

It needs time to clear some glitches. Yet is nice browser, still what buggs me is that it became slow over the months. And chrome become even better and faster.

I use it just for browsing through my favourites. If I have to logon to a site I have to use explorer as cant use RoboForm with Edge which is annoying.

I have struggling to use Edge these last few months but I finally gave up the struggle and switched to Firefox. Everything is so much easier now.

Guys, try searching computer for Chrome and Chrome Browser, there's dozens of entries there and I never had it installed. I suspect they are there for compatibility. Here's just small part of it as found by "Everything"

In a browser, the chrome is any visible aspect of a browser aside from the webpages themselves (e.g., toolbars, menu bar, tabs). This should not to be confused with the Google Chrome browser. Notice some of those entries are in Firefox.

I disabled a few apps and they put them down at the bottom of the Menu, out of sight, almost! :)

I just made Internet Explorer my default browser so no problems now. Just use Edge to browse when I am not needing to use passwords.
At 79 I must be one of the oldest junior members on the site lol.

I stopped using if after it started causing my PC to lock up. Just not impressed with any of the tile apps.

A quick off the wall question to all you Edge users...

Have you ever encountered an issue where the text you type in a reply box on a forum (such as here) is suddenly flagged as incorrect by the spellchecker and is all underlined in red as you continue to type. Nothing will shift the error, you can delete the text and retype it but the underlining in red still appears. The only way to clear it is to refresh the page.

I've an open bug report with MS on this. Just wondered if any one else had ever observed this happen on any site.

Oh yes I have noticed that on numerous occasions since I started using it a few days ago.
