I haven't given up on Edge. It just doesn't have any features I need that Pale Moon doesn't have.
I started it once a couple of builds ago.
I didn't like it, so I'm continuing to use Pale Moon.

I've read where some folks had problems with IE11 crashing, since our last 2 or 3 updates, IE11 has not crashed once on my 2 computers. Rock solid for me. I also use Chrome too, which never gives me any problems. Edge has a VERY long way to go before I even look at it again. Completely USELESS for my needs.

so far I really like Edge, it has not crashed one time for me unlike IE... Windows vista and IE are the main reason that most of my computers are apple..... however so far I really like the dell latitude e6410 with windows 10 pro. windows 10 pro seems to be almost as stable as my mac desktop since it has not crashed one time yet... reason I say almost is I have only been using it for about a week and a half... have to see how it continues to behave.

Ok to me and several others from reading their posts Edge is better and improving,
If Windows 10 had not of come with a new Browser I would of not upgraded at all.
The reason IE11 kept crashing on all the systems, if it had of just been one yes could of put up with that but that was on every system we had in the house.
Now at last I can use a Browser without my systems giving me hassle as I have disabled IE from every system and ONLY use Edge
Should have been using Chrome of FF all those years, you wouldn't have had a problem

I am happy you enjoy your Edge, it is better than IE in some respects and lacks in other areas. Edge is not for me, it doesn't even come close to my Chrome IMO.

FF I hated and Chrome kept popping up with a question and search right in the middle of the page and that was downloading it from the google site. Also had to just uninstall it from my friends computer because it is messing up his you tube so put Edge in for him he can now watch you tube to his hearts content
Edge will in time be able to do what IE11 and Chrome can do

    My two cents...

... I agree with all the critiques folks have mentioned. I also have tried to warm up to it, and I still check it out from time to time, but nothing seems to change...

The handling of favorites is abysmal, slow, unpredictable. Lack of ad blocking is unacceptable. I experience random freeze-ups and sometimes outright crashes. Here's one that I haven't seen mentioned yet: Let's say to want to go back 4 or 5 pages. You just click and hold the back-button and you are presented with a history list that you can pick from, right? NOT! Unlike any other browser I have encountered, you have to go back one. page. at. a. time. This is a major annoyance to me.

The thing just doesn't feel well-crafted - it feels very fragile and unpredictable and sloppy. It feels more like a cobbled-together 'proof of concept' than a released product, and in my opinion MS rushed it out the door too soon. In any case, it needs a LOT of work before I could consider using it regularly. I'd like to, but I just can't.

I know you're an Edge fan, but as things stand it's unusable for plenty of people. I need a browser with Chromecast support, one that's compatible with Sky Go, one with cross platform support so I can access my bookmarks on my phone, tablet or Linux partition, one with an extension that shan't be named, one with RSS feed support.

Even if Edge had all the above, I'd still opt for Firefox and Chrome as both perform better on my machine.

I'm bewildered anyone can use Edge as their primary browser as things stand, it's nothing more than a curio as far as I'm concerned. I'll keep an eye on it, but I'll be extremely surprised if it catches up with the more established browsers, let alone surpass them.

This may help with what is going to be added to Edge
