Then it has to be a setting that you're using on all three. I know that many users, including myself, have had zero issues with Chrome for years.. Check your PC's before blaming Chrome.

    My 2c
I have to agree. I actually hate Chrome myself but only because I'm not in love with the UI. But countless people have expressed pure joy using Chrome, especially in areas of speed, it appears superlative. So I cannot believe it would be the culprit of so many issues.

By the way, wouldn't Chrome send just as much info back home to Google, as Edge would to Microsoft? I think the term "spying" is a tad overstated here. Gathering usage stats might be more like it. Either way, I dislike that practice. However, Microsoft is far from the only company doing it.

    Google Chrome vs Chrome

Guys, try searching computer for Chrome and Chrome Browser, there's dozens of entries there and I never had it installed. I suspect they are there for compatibility. Here's just small part of it as found by "Everything".
In a lot of cases, "chrome" refers to the UI appearance/components (like on cars).

Firefox had "chrome" files before Google Chrome existed.

You can change the way the browser behaves by manipulating the appropriate "chrome" file.

For example, my friend liked his context menu to have certain entries in a specific order.
He used to edit the "chrome" files to get the browser set up exactly the way he wanted.

    Also:
    chrome in Technology

    jargon
(From automotive slang via wargaming) Showy features added to attract users but contributing little or nothing to the power of a system.
"The 3D icons in Motif are just chrome, but they certainly are *pretty* chrome!"

Chrome is distinguished from bells and whistles by the fact that the latter are usually added to gratify developers' own desires for featurefulness. Often used as a term of contempt and sometimes used in conjunction with 'fluff', "all the fluff and chrome that comes with Motif".

Internet Explorer is far superior to Edge...but i don't use it anymore since it is on the way to getting phased out....I am so thankful for having Google Chrome which i absolutely love....If i had to use Edge on windows 10, i'd go back to my linux (ubuntu) which i used prior to windows 10 "swaying" me over (which by the way, Windows 7 and 8 didn't do)....

The Edge browser itself appears to be really good at what you can do with it. The problem is without the ability to have add-in features through some means it can to think that many of us expect to be able to do with our browser. I'm disabled and depend on using Dragon NaturallySpeaking software to control my computer but without the ability to be able to use an add-in I really can't use Edge. The same also applies for many security software packages and password managers. When the ability to use these type of programs with Edge occurs it will be a very good browser.

Edge was quite good idea, but it's too similar to Internet explorer.
