Update KB3114409 made Outlook 2010 behave badly for me. It would always open fullscreen and would not keep configuration like window size, reading pane, column widths and such. I ended up uninstalling it and Outlook went back to normal.

    Hi all,

I had encountered Error 0x80070643 with 2 updates:
    - Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3122947)
    - Security Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB3106614)

I have fixed Error 0x80070643 for the Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3122947) by running the following in the admin cmd:

    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890d52a5\windows10.0-kb3122947-x64.cab

After running the command above the update seem to have disappeared but I am having the same error (Error 0x80070643) while trying to install Security Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB3106614).

Does anyone have an idea about what the problem might be ?

Winver tells me that currently I have Windows 10 Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.29) (64-bit)

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi all,

Downloaded and installed Cumulative Update KB3116900 with a bunch of Office updates and restarted my Dell. Rechecked for update a few mintes later and Cumulative Update KB3116900 reinstalled AUTOMATICALLY for the SECOND time.

I don't see any problems so far (Windows and Office appear to respond even faster and smoother as a matter of fact) but it's weird, no?
