That was a worm, designed to gradually degrade Internet Explorer to the point where you'll use Edge, like all Win10 users are supposed to do.

Considering the frequent updates for Flash why can't there be 1 file dowload that updates all the browsers? The way it is now IE & Edge have to get a Flash download update, Chrome has to get it's own Flash download, and Firefox has to get it's own Flash update.

When you think about a Billion computers that is a huge amount of inefficient time productivity and redundant bandwidth waste.

sfc /scannow busted. dism to current source files reports no integrity issues 100 pct fixed and sfc /scannfile to appropriate files reports no integrity issues found. no idea what is going on here. after all that i am going to assume everything is okay. The only reported corruption is on this line of the cbs log file: "2015-12-08 20:34:59, Info CSI 000050d2 [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file [l:78 ml:79]"\??\C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Tablet PC"\[l:19]"Windows Journal.lnk"; source file in store is also corrupted. However, after some super expert and unbelievably deep repair of this system the last entry in the cbs log yields this: "2015-12-08 20:34:59, Info CSI 000050da [SR] Verify and Repair Transaction completed. All files and registry keys listed in this transaction have been successfully repaired". That pretty much says it all to me. I don't ever use that Journal thingy and I ain't linked to no stinkin tablet so, piss off MS. By the way this all started actually a couple of updates ago, Early dec or late nov. Not sure as I wasn't payin attention to integrity of my core files. What can I say.
