    hey guys,

So am i the only one here where Build 1151 cannot install?

Also since all computers are on Build 10586, my network was back as should.

Now since recently after one of the latest updates, gone again.

Oh well, i am getting used to this.

    Hi there

BE CAREFUL if you run this on a VM -- the update somehow hosed up the activation -- and I'm running 100% legit W10 -- no Pirate software either.

Restored previous version -- running fine and blocking all updates until this is fixed. The update also gave me missing taskbar when switching from internal to external monitor (not immediately but after about 15 mins or so).
Note this only happened on a VM -- no problem with the update on a physical machine.

    W10 X-64Pro.

Using VMware workstation version 12 as the vm software.

    Cheers

What is Build 1151? If you mean 1511, 1511 is build 10586?

Suggest you run the Windows Update troubleshooting process. What's you're seeing indicates you may have an issue. It's not Microsoft in general. My two systems just updated correctly.

I see that "defer ugrades" is greyed out in my WU advanced options, I can not change it.

Is there any registry tweaks to do it ?

OK I answer to myself to push the shmilblick in front !

I find this regedit tweak HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate and the key "defer upgrades" with "1" value. I have to change for "0" value... all is OK now. Thanks mE !

A desktop and a laptop running Win 10 Home both received the Update and installed without problems. My desktop running Win 10 Pro did not receive the update nor did it appear when doing a search for updates. I downloaded the ISO (Win10_1511_English_x64.iso) from Tech Bench on 12/10, right click and MOUNT the ISO and then ran Setup.exe and installed it without problems.

    My OS Build shows 10586.29

Just to clarify, based on what you posted, you did not install an update. You did an "In Place Upgrade". During the process, it looked for and downloaded and applied all available updates.
