    Interesting. V5.11.54408.
CCleaner was definitely removed from 2 laptops but I cannot remember if they were Monitoring at the time of the Update.
Also the update which previously failed on a Dell desktop has now worked aftter I uninstalled CCleaner first.
    Confusing...

According to El Reg the Update is removing other software quote:

Microsoft pulled a major update for Windows after it blew away the user's privacy settings, allowing app developers and advertisers to glean the user’s identity.
But that’s only part of the story, which gets murkier by the day.
We already knew Windows 10 Threshold deleted third-party data monitoring tools and cleanup tools, including stalwarts like Spybot and CCleaner. It even disabled Cisco’s VPN software. Just a bug, said Microsoft.

Yes but by 2020 and later we would be talking about Windows 11 or 12 issues. Few will still install Windows 10.
    Really? Not Windows 93 issues?

BTW, this update thread has 93 replies so far and will in all likelihood exceed 100 replies, another horror-in-sequels although not for me personally. I am in fact quite pleasantly surprised by the latest .14 (the previous .3 and .11 did not cause any problems for me whatsoever but there were no observable improvements either, it is as if it were not updated at all )

No I have been one of the lucky ones.
Could be because I make sure all drivers are up to date.
Between 3 and 11 it was mainly to do certainly in my case Edge Browser
    I noticed a difference as I use it 24/7

Strange, that scenario you describe does not happen to me.
I have been using Ccleaner since Win 7 days.
My 2 laptops, one running Win 10 Home RTM and one Win 10 Pro Insider Preview have no problem updating to current 1511 10.0.10586.14 and Ccleaner is left intact.
Current version I am using is : v.5.11.5408

Adding : Just started to install the new version 5.11.5431
I don't see V5.11.54408 being offered to my system. Perhaps a typo ?

Didn't remove CCleaner on any of my computers. I have monitoring turned on and the upgrade went without any problems.

I question the reliability of his source for the claims. Reddit?? I don't put that site up with the "best" tech support areas on the internet.

It is strange how it removed CCleaner on some systems and not on others. I have the free version of CCleaner on 2 laptops that are running Windows 10 RTM, 1 is home and 1 is pro and CCleaner wasn't removed. On my dual boot desktop Windows 10 RTM has the paid version of CCleaner and Windows 10 Preview has the free version of CCleaner and CCleaner wasn't removed.
