I'm just about ready to re-start. What should I expect?

Is that it? I see that but is there any fixes included?

Your registry has been updated. For some reason this requires a restart.

Why can't a few services get stopped and any changes applied and restart the services, escapes me since there is no reason to restart everything.

One day, downtime will be a thing of the past.

Not much, as far as my eye can see, so far.
They do advise to reset all your privacy settings that were not being retained with the last update.
