Gee, I have been automatically updated to .3 (not to .11 yet) and things are being pulled? I don't have any trouble, but I feel like a guinea pig. I hope that the next automatic update will again be trouble-free for me

You do understand not everyone gets sick? Does that mean there is no sickness in the world???
It doesn't mean everyone is sick, though. It doesn't even mean a large percentage is sick, just a few vocal ones.

The vast majority of people don't seem to be having the issues described by the small vocal minority.

If they have pulled it does that mean that those of us that are not having any troubles, when they re issues it again mean we have to put the whole lot back in or just the fix they will add.
    Good question

They have pulled it means there are likely underlying problems with the build, rather than just an update issue, if it was a matter of a simple patch I think they would have done that.
Truthfully though only time will tell.

I wonder how they will handle the existing PC's that have 10586 working with no issues. Might they just create a KB for those users and patch the build and re-release it with a new build number or might they just drop an entirely new build for everyone?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

I hope it is a patch, I just spent a day last week installing the TH2 ISO, I was one of the people for whom the Windows Update or Media creator options did not work so my only option was to wipe and then re-install, doing so though and getting my computer the way I like it takes the best part of a day

    Hi,

Absolutely agreed but it still takes a lot of work getting there.
The N version of Enterprise LTSB is exactly how I'd like my desktop windows to be and I'm sure that many people who stick with Win 7 do that for the exact same reason I like that edition of Win10.

IOW, if MS were to release such a trimmed down version to the public then I suspect it would be quite successful. I could be wrong too.

    Cheers guys,
In all seriousness, it doesn't take much effort at all, imo. Unlike in Win8/.1, the default boot is to desktop and you don't have to install a 3rd-party start menu. It takes only a few mouse clicks to unpin the default tiles from the start menu and after that they won't come back--ever--unless you want them. The horizontal column width of the start menu involves only one or two more mouse clicks, it sizes just like an open Window--larger to smaller or vice-versa--and you can even customize the vertical size of the start menu the same way--with the mouse and a single click/drag/release. You can send any shortcut to the desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting "send to desktop"--just like in Win7, IIRC. If anything, it's more customizable than the Win7 start menu, imo. But none of this involves anything more strenuous than a few mouse clicks. I would not try and trivialize it; it really is that easy.

We probably won't hear anything till Monday as most of those in the know are probably gone being this is the weekend. I guess until we hear something official, it's just guess work on our part as to the reasons; however I find it strange that all 3 outlet sources are removed. That's somewhat telling.

That is what I was wondering off all of us that have no problems with it.
1 Are they going to ask us to uninstall it.
If so will it take out bits of the July upgrade
2 Only do a patch for those having trouble.
3 Or some other reason why they with drew it.
4 If bugs or issues why did not the insiders who tested it find it
