Gee, I have been automatically updated to .3 (not to .11 yet) and things are being pulled? I don't have any trouble, but I feel like a guinea pig. I hope that the next automatic update will again be trouble-free for me
I hope it is a patch, I just spent a day last week installing the TH2 ISO, I was one of the people for whom the Windows Update or Media creator options did not work so my only option was to wipe and then re-install, doing so though and getting my computer the way I like it takes the best part of a day
In all seriousness, it doesn't take much effort at all, imo. Unlike in Win8/.1, the default boot is to desktop and you don't have to install a 3rd-party start menu. It takes only a few mouse clicks to unpin the default tiles from the start menu and after that they won't come back--ever--unless you want them. The horizontal column width of the start menu involves only one or two more mouse clicks, it sizes just like an open Window--larger to smaller or vice-versa--and you can even customize the vertical size of the start menu the same way--with the mouse and a single click/drag/release. You can send any shortcut to the desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting "send to desktop"--just like in Win7, IIRC. If anything, it's more customizable than the Win7 start menu, imo. But none of this involves anything more strenuous than a few mouse clicks. I would not try and trivialize it; it really is that easy.
We probably won't hear anything till Monday as most of those in the know are probably gone being this is the weekend. I guess until we hear something official, it's just guess work on our part as to the reasons; however I find it strange that all 3 outlet sources are removed. That's somewhat telling.
That is what I was wondering off all of us that have no problems with it.
1 Are they going to ask us to uninstall it.
If so will it take out bits of the July upgrade
2 Only do a patch for those having trouble.
3 Or some other reason why they with drew it.
4 If bugs or issues why did not the insiders who tested it find it
