You do understand not everyone gets sick? Does that mean there is no sickness in the world???

First off, you're not talking to some newbie Microsoft hater here. I've been in these forums from Vista to 7 to 8 to 10 so it's not like I'm clueless here! It is factually known here and elsewhere that the TH2 update has been buggy to many in trying to get the update to install. There are threads here and elsewhere about the issue, and many have simply resorted to doing a clean install to get around it. I myself will have to do a clean install on my laptop because the update simply errors out before completion, even though my desktop went flawless with the update.

The fact that "you" didn't have an issue doesn't mean everyone else was so lucky. Just because you didn't get sick, doesn't mean there is no sickness.

    Peace
Not sure what you are attempting to say, thus it would appear to be a pointless point. Like you a great deal of us have spent a great deal of time on all the forums you have mentioned, so just because we have does not make us all that important in the world of Windows OSs. . .:)

I am awaiting a new SSD and will do a clean install of this TH2 update as it did NOT work well with my 10240 build.

Reading that entire article, I did not see one mention of bugs. Where did the OP get his information from?
Thank you! I don't find bugs mentioned either. I have no issues with latest build and am very happy with updates made.

As I see it this is just symptomatic of society in general today, complain, complain, complain...... and it doesn't really matter what the subject matter is.

While there are those out there that are having issues for various reasons, a large majority of those issues can be corrected by someone who knows what they are doing.

Example: The fella that manages the place where I live decided he would upgrade his office computer to 10, after I had been telling him for months what I as an insider had observed about the upcoming upgrade .

I had instructed him to get ready for the upgrade by backing up his important stuff: did he do that... NO!!
I had instructed him to make sure he had a recovery option (restore disc) did he do that .... NO!!
I had instructed him to update drivers and update his win7 until he could get no more updates and then run the media creation tool instead of trying to do the upgrade thru the get win 10 notification icon.... again... did not do that.

Then complains about how much he doesnt like win10 and how horrible it was, each time he complained I patiently explained to him that the probelm for his was simply a matter of proper configuration and setup of win10.

I also advised him that he had 30 days from his install date to roll back if he was that unhappy.

He eventually hired me to fix his issues, which took all of about 2 hrs which included a trip to Office Depot to get him and external hard drive (to back up his critical data)

That same individual is now quite happy with the way his computer runs

Bottom line, all of that drama and frustration for that user could have been avoided.

    Laterz,

In a situation where 1% of users have an issue with installation / upgrade I can assure you that the 1% will make a lot more noise than the 99% who had no issues - this is called human nature

This of course will slew the perception of the viability of the upgrade concerned.

When you add to this the fact that "Bad News Sells" which leads many web and traditional media to report the "terrible problems" that this upgrade is causing to "everyone" (this hyperbole results in more copies sold or click received, so is normal practice), the actual situation is totally exaggerated,

I for one totally ignore this type of useless on-line and press output

Looks like the TH2 updates has been pulled completely from all sources.. including WU

They have reverted back to the previous build for all ISO's with the message

These downloads cannot be used to update Windows 10 PCs to the November update (Version 1511).

Well it looks like that "1% of users" got Microsoft's attention as the update appears to have been pulled from 3 sources - Windows Update, the Media Creation Tool page, and ISO page.
