Just 1 download, then the other 2 pcs get the files from that one

Why would the average home user want to fiddle about downloading the files when they can just let the machine grab them and then inform the user to restart and install
Many people don't care about updates, so doing most of the work for them in the background is the easiest solution
With 4 PC's here a disk works fine but either way will work ,I have done it both ways . I just downloaded the latest 1511 (10586.0 ) ISO from tech bench to make a DVD from . OTOH like you say the avarage user will probably just let the update channel download it .☻

Since Threshold-2, my EDGE browser now prints everything in "Normal" (ink sucking) print, unless I remember each time to change it to "Draft" quality in the Edge "more settings" dialogue. This occurs on both my HP and Brother printers, with each print job, regardless of how I have the print output set in "Devices and Printers".

The conspirator in me says that Microsoft gets money from major Printer manufacturers to do this. After all Windows10 is Free, which means we have to pay in some other way, because NOTHING from huge corporations (or govt) is truly FREE.

You can set the printer's default preference by going to Control panel. Select Devices and Printers. Right click on your default printer. Click on "Printer Preferences". Choose the prefence you want to use and click on OK.

Hmm. I just got a notification email pointing to posting 148 in this thread. As I look, that is the last post in the thread. Yesterday there were additional postings. Anybody know what happened to them?
