First Major Update for Windows 10 Available
-
I started getting 450M recovery partitions about 3 insider preview builds before 10586. The space was taken off the end of my C drive. I just deleted the extra partition in each case and merged the space back into C.
Mine are all at the start of the drive.

You missed my point . . . there will never be a thread announcing a new Build or an upgrade that will be 100 posts or less! Ergo . . . you ain't never gonna update again! :)
I think it is you who missed my point. Want to bet?
A Windows 7 to 10 upgrade thread in 2020 or long before that will receive less than 10 replies :)
A Windows 8/8.1 to 10 upgrade thread in 2023 or long before that will receive less than 1 reply because it would not even be read :)

Ah OK, I also have 900MB that is maybe from Windows 8.1 and now 450MB from Win10?
I've never had 8 or 8.1 make a partition unless it was hidden. Did you upgrade from 8.1 and 10 now reveals that partition?

Much successs! Don't forget to check for updates (WU) after the dust has settled and your desktop appears stable.

Yes I upgrade from 8.1 to 10 (10240) none 450MB partition created. Now I upgraded to 10586 and it's in Disk management, strange...

keeps telling me it had an issue installing the current version update to windows and to try again later.

That is strange. Here's my Disk Management from within 10586.3 dual booting with 8.1.1 with legacy BIOS. The recovery partition is from 10 install.

Thanks, but you'll have to translate that to English for us to understand that, please. A simple list will do.
