Office 365 2016 downloaded and installed for me with no problems. Need Outlook cos how else would I get Ten Forums notifications. :)
See if your ISP offers Webmail/online E-Mail on their site, most do. I always go there when seeing E-Mail Client [installed program] problems, helps in diagnosing where problems lie. Also is quite handy when traveling and provides a work-around for an E-Mail Client issue when it can't Send a message or reply.

Gee, I truly hope for our sakes and for Microsoft's sake that the automatic updates to the masses will be much less problematic

I am one of the masses and have not received my TH2 via automatic updates yet ... shudder ... shudder ... (I need a shudder emo)
Last time we had an issue like this, we got information that Microsoft is also testing the delivery aspect of Windows 10, so maybe that's what happened here?

It could also be that since there was a big problem with getting the update/upgrade that Microsoft pulled it until they could get delivery right.

    Just a WAG folks. :)

As far as I know, Edward, Enterprise won't get the update this time around.

Yeah that's the one I have. Seems to be an issue that affects some HP PCs.

I was able to get the intel management driver to rollback by uninstalling the driver and then restarting. It put back a 9 version. So that should take care of that hopefully.

Here is a solution page for it:

Absolutely! That's why I dropped back to Office 2013!

When/what time did yo reinstall O365, Fjk?
I'm in Dublin, Ireland where MS has loads of server farms. Downloaded and installed Office around 13.00 GMT.

Upgrade showed up on desktop and two lap tops today. Desktop and one laptop downloaded and installed in a reasonable amount of time. Both appear to be working properly.

Lenovo laptop downloaded and began installation. Got to 15% and stayed there for three hours without movement.
Then got a message, FAILED TO INSTALL.

I went to the update screen and checked for updates. Nothing showed.

What do I do now? Will another notification appear for the upgrade?
When that happens usually your update thing will show no updates are available. Your solution, and I bet you don't want to hear this, is to get the media creation tool from this source: Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool - Windows Help
Follow the directions carefully. DO NOT RUSH the installation. Back up your important files, photos, music etc. and don't forget the favorites.

The reset in win 10 recovery with no personal files kept option - is this the same as a clean install? When I've done it I had to fill out registration info etc as if it were a new computer.
I am not on my Windows 10 computer right now, but on my Windows 8.1 computer it says "Remove everything and reinstall Windows" which sounds like a clean install.

If that's indeed a clean install, then it would be one requiring the least effort.
    Anyone knows for sure?

My ISP does have Webmail. I do use it sometimes. Outlook is running fine for me now.

Installed now, will have to wait and see. Seemed to happen right after boot up when I was launching programs.
Should install nVidia GeForce Experience as it will tell you when new drivers are available.
