Really? What's up on your end? So far I've not found a single issue with my PC using this build(version).

I didn't receive the Threshold update through Windows Update. If I download the media creation tool and do an "upgrade" , will it give me the threshold update?

The updated media creation tool will give you the new build/version(115/10586.0) so you can update over a previous version of Windows or perform a clean instillation if you like.

Checked my PC (win 10 Prof not in insider) Windows Update, no sign of 10586 yet.
Downloaded and created USB to perform the upgrade.

I'll wait until Saturday Morning to work on this. You can call me superstitious but I will not install software on Friday, the thirteen unless it is an emergency!

    Good luck everyone!:)

Okay yes the media creation tool did give me the new build with upgrade. I see it updated the driver for intel management without a rollback. I hope they fixed the shutdown issue that the rollback fixed. Everything seems fine otherwise.

I updated my ASUS T100 last night by wiping out the built-in SSD. I had a road block and the installation won't go through using the media creation tool. It stops at 22% and pops a message up that the installation was cancelled. Tried it 3x to no avail. I thought my 10 incher is screwed up and will be a paperweight. I download the ISO from Tech Bench and used a different USB flashdrive. Everything is good now. As for my main PC, I did an in-place upgrade with an ISO and seems to be fine. Still boots up in 10sec just like it did before the upgrade. Seems to be no issue so I will keep it that way for now.

I smell no sign of the update yet.

It's hard to ascertain the algorithm Microsoft utilizes to determine the update queue.

No need to wait, just download the ISO or use the MCT to upgrade.
