In an earlier post, I used the new MCT and chose to write an .iso to my desktop. I now discovered that it also wrote the ~BT and ~WS folders to my C: drive. ?

Yes, i figured this, no rush for me as i am reading how it went for others so far.
I really don't blame you. I got the ISO and did a clean install. So far no issues encountered.

Hmm... I see this update available on my desktop, but my laptop hasn't offered the update yet. Why?

The Media Creation Tool seems to do the job better....I became bored waiting for Windows update, I did try it but it failed.

Thanks, just backing up user files before doing a clean install!

    Hi Geneo
may i know how did you update?
have you download the iso updated?
    and ?

    thanks
Downloaded the media creation tool, choose to upgrade current system and to keep my files. It downloads the update and istalld it. You should be able to do the same with Iso, except no dowlod is needed.

I am in Los Angeles and nothing here for me...if the only "improvement" is shaving a few minutes (yes minutes) off my bootup time I will be happy! If this new version doesn't do it then I am trying a SSD.
