First Major Update for Windows 10 Available
-
still no sign here! And I'm in Europe.
Yep I just got home checked for updates and nothing, says I'm upto date. Grrrrrrr.
I did until a few days ago have defer updates ticked as I thought having it ticked would allow insider/beta builds in. Obviously saw my error and unticked it about 3 days back, could that be a reason I'm not showing it?

KB 3106246 download but will not install. Please try again. Guess I'll wait.

Went down the "Media Creation Tool" route, and it worked a treat!

I've had KB3106246 install, is this the much talked-about new upgrade to Windows 10, or a much, much smaller Windows Update?.

How are you exactly going about it this way, another clean install ?

Update presumably finished downloading, it took a while , then said it had problems installing some updates and it will retry later and or to retry later only 59.3 MB in c:\ $Windows ~ BT folder mostly from 10/29 no .
No 10586 th2 media install tool download .exe in there either .
Update re try says my device is up to date but I'm still on 10240 on this primary NTFS partician .
Maybe it will happen later .

I had the same issue. I just downloaded the media creation tool and used that to update.

I'm running the 'standard' general released build of Windows 10 Home, how do I find the actual build number?.
