    Presume you were an administrator.

Check the folder sizes as I have seen a couple of files that didn't delete.

After every windows 10 update, the system always uses the AMDA00 driver for my Asus motherboard from the windows.old, so always leaves these behind on cleanup. I have to go into device manager, uninstall AMDA00, set the permissions on windows.old so I can delete the folders and file, delete the folder, then update the AMDA00 driver. Sigh.

Well, until now, I never saw something similar, other than partitions done by faul by manufacturers. All my clean installs (until now) never showed someting similar.
There are situations where the hidden system reserved will not be created. If the drive is pre partitioned and formatted. Depends on how you do the install. I delete all partitions and just install to the unallocated space. Windows then creates what partitions it needs automatically.

I am doing the in place upgrade to TH2 via an iso created using MCT. I intitially upgraded to WIndows 10 from 7 just two weeks back. Will the TH2 upgrade remove the Windows 7 files(windows.old) or should I remove it now using disk cleanup?

I get that from Intel drivers. Another way is to delete it is from WinPE or safe mode (not much less of a hassle though)..
