Yep, me too, Alpha. But we're all like a little kid in school that "finally" knows the answer; both hands in the air and, "I know, I know!" And I do appreciate and love the fact that everyone here is so helpful.

Got a problem? Somebody knows the answer.

When I was running 8.0 Enterprise I'm pretty sure I had to clean install to go to 8.1 Enterprise. That's why I think you might have to this time around. I clean installed 10865 Enterprise anyway so I don't know if you can upgrade with an ISO. In hind site I should have tried it. Just wasn't thinking at the time.
OK. I'm wondering now that they've separated Pro/Home "commoners" from Enterprise/Education if one needs to be registered Enterprise/Education member and/or register a PC/device so far as that's concerned. Much like a "trusted device" of an MS account. Perhaps that's why you received the message that it's unsupported?

I think the biggest difference, Hippsie, is that Home and Pro (for us commoners) is a free upgrade from Win 7/8.1 while Enterprise is a paid upgrade for businesses.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16281

I just posted feedback on the issue of Windows 10 Pro reverting to Windows 10 Home:

Version 1511 (10586.3) - I upgraded Windows 8.1 Home to Windows 8.1 Pro, then upgraded to Build 10240 RTM. When it was released, I needed to clean install Version 1511 (10586.3) for various reasons. This was accomplished through the Media Creation Tool. When I checked my version, however, Windows 10 Pro had reverted to Windows 10 Home!

Thankfully, TenForums.com has very knowledgeable folks, and those of us who suffered this indignity were helped to get back to Windows 10 Pro. However, this isn't something those out there in the hinterlands are going to be able to solve on their own unless they're very technically minded.

Bottom line: This needs to be corrected before the next major update is released!

Yes. I understand that and the Enterprise edition (and now newly-introduced Education edition) has always had more features, but now it's more or less a more "stripped down" version in which IT can add features/apps to it via a whole separate WU and separate Enterprise Store server system. For the most part the media and a lot of IT Pros thought 8/8.1 was a "toy OS" so now MS is taking a different approach as to how and introduce WinRT to the Enterprise and Education entities.

Make no mistake. MS is pushing forward with WinRT. This is but a mere "training period" for all to do just that. Again, I'll predict that 10 years from now there won't be any desktop as we know it today. Perhaps maybe sooner.
