    I'm an Insider, so 10586 X64 ISO via Insider download does indeed give the option to either download or wait. In fact it is one of the first thing asked. With what you just stated I'm not sure about other install media then.

    Making any headway?

    What about the new update today. i.e. win10... version 10.0.10586.11. Does this update stop this thread?

    Thus update does not work on all machines including mine.

    I just done a new Toshiba out of the box came with 10240 & same error wont install it. I gave up on it Microsoft took it off the update site now there aware of it as I contacted them today via phone & they will have a fix for those who can't. Acer & Toshiba reported this many times & Dell also as they told me.

    I got this Insider volume and the 7x64 upgrade licenced NTFS volume from 10586.3 to 10586 .11 fine on this one.
    3 other licence upgraded PC's here to do the same update on .

    Ok I tried this I made another DVD booted it from start & this blue screen appears fltmgr.sys in windows 32 as i see from Microsoft security essentials but 10 doesn't use it. I going to try to rename that file & see what happened but even off a DVD from start up nothing working.
