It came out to about 3.79GB.

    Did you clean install it?

I was thinking about doing it because I am expecting some problems with the update, but so far I don't see any reason to do a clean install.

I performed the clean install this morning and that went just fine. I usually do that when I install a new OS or an update to a version.

Just finished downloading the Enterprise ISO and it won't mount in Windows 8.1. Looks like I'll have to download it again. I wish they'd put it up on MSDN.

Sorry to ask but are you really sure? Windows 8 & 8.1 quite often give the error message that the ISO could not be mounted but when you check This PC you'll find it there mounted. Has happened really often to me.

Yes, I'm really sure. I just downloaded it again using the alternate method and it mounted fine. It looks like the Akamai downloader was the issue. I've used it in the past and it worked fine. Anyway I just made my bootable thumb drive and will likely start the install before the day is out.

I hope you wasn't offended by my question, I was sure that you knew it but as that can really be confusing when the message says it did not mount even when it mounts just fine, I thought better be sure .

In addition to removing Bing engine, remember that you can totally remove all Modern Apps you do not like and use with PowerShell. As you know simply uninstalling a Modern App quite often does nothing else but simply removes the app from Start, leaving it on hard disk ready to be "re-installed", added to Start again.

Just uninstall the apps you do not need, then open the PowerShell or PowerShell ISE and give this command:
    Code:
    Get-AppxPackage | Out-GridView -PassThru | Remove-AppxPackage
    The command explained:
Get-Appxpackage (AppxPackage = App) lists all Modern Apps on your hard disk, the pipe ('|') symbol then "pipes" (sends) the output to cmdlet Out-GridView to be presented in table which passes the user selection through (switch -PassThru), piping it to cmdlet Remove-Appxpackage:
Select your uninstalled apps you'd like to remove completely if they are still shown after you uninstalled them, click OK and you are done (in above example screenshot I removed an app from a Finnish newspaper which does not work, and Bing Health).

You can now check that they are really gone by giving the "list all apps" cmdlet piping it to grid tabel with this command:
    Code:
    Get-AppxPackage | Out-GridView

You are indeed a certified geek Kari.. hats off..

No problem. I think this is the first time I've had one fail to mount.

Yes, that is what I saw also. On my Surface Pro the install to ready time was around the 30 minute mark. On my HP desktop with hybrid drive, it took about 50 minutes I believe.
