New Windows 10 Preview build 9879 available

The 'Pin to Home' feature could very well be a good thing, as it seems you can almost disable the cluttered navigation pane.
(In 9860, it was either the Home folder or cluttered navigation pane, one of em had to go!)

Apparently you can uninstall the Bing Search engine, right click/uninstall 'Search' app from all apps.
Nice find, Edwin! I see it's a Modern app now in this build. What's left after uninstall?
You click on the icon, it does nothing; other search locations don't seem to open the Bing thing either.
What about search in File Explorer?
Seems to work the way it should. :)
What about search in the Start Menu?

Brings up native results as well! :)

Look! We're creating a piece of "quoting art".
Just native results then?
They should have left search alone as in 8.1 so as to choose where to search.

Not got the update yet, might get it downloaded by end of the month, lol
Anyway, hows Onedrive working for people who use it
Reading a few complaints about it, is it true you can only see onedrive files in explorer if you choose to keep them offline, I like being able to see all onedrive files in explorer and select which ones to be offline and which online only
Another thing they should have left alone, IMO!

I'm gonna ruin our cascading "Quoting Art" with an attachment!
Uninstalling 'Search' app eliminates the 'Web Results' options.

Just native results if they exist.

Not if I eliminate the attachment.
LOL! I'm too focused on the Taskbar and Start Menu search in 10 that I forgot about Charms search where one can pick where to search.
I guess it's nice to see that those that choose not to use Bing can turn it off. Unfortunately that's a plus for that "other search engine".
LOL! Your original quote is getting quite slim!

The Task Manager Window Snapping is totally fixed.
That should have read, "The Task Manager Window Snapping is not totally fixed."
How do you get a 4 quarter snap? I can get two half screen but how do you get 4?
I use the "Windows Key + Left (or Right) Arrow" and then "Windows Key + Up (or Down) Arrow".
LOL! Ironically I can get a desktop and Store app to snap 100%/50% horizontally.

BTW. in the building industry the horizontal measurement always precedes the vertical. e.g. Windows, doors, walls, etc.
Interesting.
In mathematics, it is X then Y (at least that's what I was taught).

Well, I have almost had all I need of Windows 10, personally, IMHO it has removed some of the best functions from past versions. How unfortunate.
