I guess no build or testing for me today ... its work all day, then laser tag, then Mongolian Hot Pot for dinner, night. I'll be home late and exhausted. Maybe tomorrow I'll play around. Have fun testing dudes. I shouldn't even be here, getting paid to post. lol. no but really, dont want to get in shit. lol.
Hardly ever! Actually when people also tend to say "you have to" go USB 3.0 and then take the same brand and model flash drive being a 3.0 drive and put it up against the same but 2.0 version they both do the same things at the exact same on the two different buses when timed! Why should I spend more for something that simply won't offer me anything more then what I already have. When you run a system 24/7 you don't worry about start up time.
Actually I kept finding 10 would take longer to arrive at the desktop except on VM where everything sees a preserved state even when shutting down completely while 7 took quite a bit longer finishing loading everything up while you sat there staring at the desktop! That hard drive led kept buzzing on and on indicating a better OS is here still needing some fixes but has progressed as far as the MinWin kernel is concerned.
You don't need faster drives or more memory as you would have going from XP to Vista while 10 is three versions newer then 7 in comparison. Yet the only thing I knock isn't SSDs but the prices they still fetch after all this time! Perhaps when it's time for the next build which is actually overdue but hasn't been necessary that will see a pair of 2tb SSDs by then.
I tested it, scoffed at it and then moved on.
Need to trim the hedges, water the outdoor plants, get some sun and go in the pool.

If you have it for "Slow" it will take some time to even see the first Insider Preview download. You have to keep things set to automatic as well being the drawback with the updates. Otherwise keep checking and finally one comes in. With two VMs here one set for Fast and the other to Slow I found the 10565 without a few hours to upgrade from the 10240 and then onto the the 10576 when having to create the 10565 VM all over again to see that upgrade to the next and by the time the post was made I was already seeing the upgrade take place for the 10586 build! That was on the main build set for Fast. Later the second VM on the remote pc got to see that as well.
I just got a message from Akeo (Rufus Official Issue Tracker) that Build 10586 has seemingly finally solved the issue of "Device Currently in Use".
I've confirmed it on the desktop but have yet to confirm it on two laptops (they still need updating to 10586). Once I confirm that a solution has been reached on those two computers, I'll be a very happy camper! This seems to have been fixed in build 10586 at long last! I tested on a 10586 upgraded machine, and the issue no longer occurs.
I will therefore close this issue. If you are still seeing an issue after upgrading to 10586 or later, please let me know.

Soooooooooo, everyone who has had this issue, would you please check to see if your USB drive will now "safely remove"?
