Happy 31st Birthday Windows 1.0 -- Introduced in 1983

3.11 was just 3.1 with networking ,I think that was the big difference
No, there was Windows 3.11 and Windows 3.11 For Workgroups. 3.11 for Workgroups had networking, 3.11 was just an update to 3.1
And, in true Microsoft fashion, 3.11 for Workgroups was almost a completely different version of Windows, in that it had a 32 bit file I/O layer (vxd's) that was the basis for Windows 95. Ironically, this seemingly minor update was a huge change in functionality.
Thanks for the correct info,my used computer came from a business when I bought it ,it had win 3.11 for workgroups

My 1st computer was a Commodore VIC 20. Loved Cosmic Cruncher!

And, then came Commodore 64...
... and an Amiga 500...
... before settling on Windows 3.1!

Wow, Nice :)
