LOL! How could Microsoft not know that if they offered Unlimited space that there are people who are going to use it, some would say abuse it but I say there is no such thing on an Unlimited plan, before you object, look up the definition of Unlimited.
Any way I never "abused" it because I never had Unlimited, but OneDrive says I have 128GB of free space, I'm not really sure how I got so much, but will really be upset with them if I suddenly only have 5GB. Really liked OneDrive because its integrated into my Windows Desktop and Windows Phone, but if they cut my storage space that much I will be looking at other services.
Now we know that Microsoft is really worrying about profits over the next few years if they can't afford to supply free storage to users at the rates they could before...
"Microsoft giveth....and Microsoft taketh away... so it says in the Corporate Good Book...provision 301b, paragraph 14.
I don't think this will not really effect me. Right now I have 15 GB free, 15 GB Camera Roll bonus and 100 Gb Free Bing bonus(good until 02/18/17). Out of that I'm only using 9 GB. If I'm reading it right I'll only lose 10 GB of the free storage and I'll be able to keep the free 15 Gb Camera Roll bonus and the free 100 GB Bing bonus until it runs out in 2017. Then I have the option of keeping the 100 GB if I want to pay for it. IMHO because of the abuse MS should just eliminate the unlimited storage plan.
