Read more: http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/w...-patch-tuesdayA Microsoft Support Engineer in the companies Answers Forums has confirmed that the first routine feature related update to Windows 10 since its release on 29 July of this year will be available during next week's regularly scheduled Patch Tuesday on 10 November.
Releasing this update on Patch Tuesday is directly inline with the companies Windows as a Service plans to provide routine updates to the OS through normal delivery mechanisms such as their tried and true Patch Tuesday.
Threshold 2 features have been tested over the last three months by Windows Insiders and the most recent build, released last week, delivered a hand full of new features to Microsoft Edge along with fit and finish tweaks to the overall UI.
How far up the ladder or chain, is a "Support Engineer", that he might know when the boss will pull the trigger?(serious question, absolutely no sarcasm meant).
I hope they release ISO immediately, my "Get new insider builds" got screwed up again and Fix Me doesn't do anything !!!
I'd like to believe the Support Engineer's correct, but they don't know a whole lot more about release dates than we do generally. Also, a Support Engineer is not an official "Microsoft Mouthpiece".
I'll wait without grinching about delays and whatnot. I'd rather see less bugs than faster releases.
That is, except for Insider Builds! We need one of those every couple of weeks! :)
