Lee, did the Office give you any specific error message?

    Hello Lee,

I had to do a repair install of Office 2016 for it to take my key and work.

It may work for you as well with Office 2013.

    1) Open "Programs and Features"
    2) Select Office, and click on the Change button.
    3) Select to do a repair.

    zilch showing here..
Check your Advanced Options; for some odd reason I had been relegated to the Slow Ring! Changed that and a couple hours later, I got the build.

And I'm having no problems at all with my Office 365 2016. Which is decidedly not normal for me. :) Then again, for the last three or four builds, O365 has been left intact!

Some of my posts have been deleted. Perhaps I unknowingly offended someone. If so, I apologise.

    My experience to date.

I burned a DVD from an ISO that I made from install.esd. I then cleaned my SSD with DISKPART.

I clean install 10576. It is working fine.

I also installed Office 365 2016 and that is working fine.

Other than my slow download speed, the whole upgrade went through very smooth, no issues so far! Found new CMD prompt though!

    Strange.

Done this already on several machines, in-place upgrade from ISO (launching the setup from previous build desktop) never asks the key, clean install with ISO burned to DVD or Flash drive asks but tells also clearly what to do:

Is there a place where it says: I don't have a key? I clicked on that and Win 10 installed and activated.

Edit: Oops! Kari beat me to it.
Nope, the initial screen I get to that asks for a key has no "I don't have a key" option. I'll try the setup again in a bit and grab a screenshot if I can.

My Office 365 is still only 2013, how did you get yours to 2016? Also, no problems on my end with the Office suite.
