    Ok I had a problem installing update kb3105210..

    Tried the normal update process and it responded with an error 0x80073712 telling me that the update had not installed.

    I ran a sfc /scannow which returned no errors and tried to install again (No dice..) I also tried the separate download provided at the beginning of this thread. No dice.

    After a reboot I then ran the DISM tool with the command: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    This also showed up no errors and the windows update and the separate download will not install the update always returning the same error 0x80073712.

    Can anyone help?

    Try this and reboot after:

    fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\&fsutil usn deletejournal /d /n c:&Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup&&sfc /scannow&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth&sfc /scannow&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase&pause

    I'm not sure if placebo or not, but after the cumulative update...my Windows 10 is far more snappier and responsive. Before update, opening Steam would take 3-4 seconds before it showed the "Connecting" box...after update the second I click the Steam icon from start menu it's already showing the connecting screen.

    Even Firefox now opens and loads in 2-3 seconds instead of the 5-10 seconds it used to take before the update. Awesome stuff.
    I thought exactly the same. Now that you have posted I think it's really true. Amazing really. I have had no issues with windows 10 on two machines for quite a while now. It does seem to be turning out like MS promised. A great OS.

    BTW: I use a local account. Disabled IE11 and never use cortana. Also all privacy options are off (Max privacy through windows interface). I rarely use edge. This possibly isolates me from some problems, but seeing as many things are interwined maybe not?
