Over the past several months, Microsoft’s NYC Flagship Store on Fifth Ave. and 53rd St. has transformed into a cutting edge space to showcase the latest Microsoft technology – we can’t wait to open our doors and celebrate in a big way on October 26. In addition to our grand opening ceremony, we will celebrate the Flagship Store with Microsoft fans and the local community by hosting a special Pitbull performance on October 26 at Rockefeller Center, South Plaza! Two complimentary tickets will be distributed to the first 1,000 customers attending the grand opening on October 26. Customers who get there early will also have a chance to win a meet and greet with Pitbull prior to the concert. Customers are invited to line up as early as at 6:00 AM on October 26 in front of the Microsoft Store and Grand Opening ceremonies begin at 11:30 AM. Microsoft on Fifth Ave. and 53rd Street opens at 12:00 PM. Once the store opens, customers will receive their tickets and great savings on products, including Xbox One at our lowest price of the season, as well as great offers on Surface. Quantities limited. Go to for the latest updates and additional details about the events.

As you walk past one of the nearby downtown alleys, an unkempt guy comes up to you and says, "Psssst, buddy! Do you want some Linux?"

According to rumours an even more daring guy has been spotted in the area. He goes around discretely asking unsuspecting people: "Pssst, do you know? An Apple a day keeps the doctor away!".

They are popping up all over one just being opened up in MS Home turf in Bellevue(of all places like state hospital? ), Washington as well as

With their Facebook page seen at for anyone interested. So with Radio Shacks closing up in various places MS is stepping in to take their place as far as carrying compact consumer gadgets as well as being regional software outlets.
