IMO, all the modern browsers I've tried, rate a "meh" at best:

    • Chrome
    • FF (since v28)
    • IE
    • Opera
Ditto. Once I used to have distinct favorites, now I couldn't care less unless I'm bombarded with ads.

Can you give me some sites where Edge is unstable, I've been hearing this a bit but I've never had any problems with Edge. I've been looking for sites to make it unstable I just can't find any.
Take your pick it's not the web sites themselves its the browser becoming unresponsive , hanging and freezing when you have multiple tabs open .

OTOH a ( large ) face book page with a long timeline and lots of other crap can slow it down in a minute if you have other tabs open also !

    Edge sucks .

I can say one thing I don't care for the looks of that place! The more addons means the more exposure! You are then opening things up for potential hacking if not other bugs. Back when running XP to help with IE 6's vulnerabilities I would see a security toolbar added which in the long run didn't amount to sqat! Sand boxing, web filtering, and "Plain Old Common Sense" are what will get you further!
Right Edge is going to allow extensions and Chrome is going to (eventually ) ween them out of the browser.

I think the issue is that all of the browser makers are copying each other so much that there's noting unique available anymore.

"It no ready for prime time!" It only took me a few quick looks to know it still has quite a ways to go!

Gradually over time and only then will you be able to follow any real progress made with it. Right now people are rushing at it with blinders on since it came with the new Windows without any further cross comparisons with finished browsers already out there for years! "Oh how wonderful!" you hear while it goes the other way in saying "Oh yes how blonderful it is! Yeah!" presently!

Pale Moon looks too be the younger sibling to Firefox while not as elustrious. Flock looks close to how Chrome appears lacking things like a menu bar with the cut away at the top look. I would say Netscape's last version Navigator 9 looks like a cross between FF and Safari while Safari is for the birds!(or the fruit farm! )

I just got my ears chewed off by someone saying Edge isn't enough at this time for people since it is still unfinished. I got told: "Well for me it is just what I need..." blah blah blah not wanting to hear the facts I guess. I also replied back with how people have reacted to finding an unfinished beta form of a browser stuffed into a brand new version of Windows when they would expect it to the RTM final!

People want things all set to go and working properly without the fuss! And if you end up having headaches with anything beta so what? You asked for it if you were already advised it wasn't the finished product but still in the early testing stages!

I run Edge as default with every new install, I try it, I put it to the test, I send in my Feedback, I install Firefox!
Sorry MS, you can't win in every category!

Well that is what MS is actually looking for! If you look through the Start>AllApps>Windows Accessories you will also notice the "Windows Feedback" item not seen previously in 7, 8, 8.1 or any other older version. Now you do however! MS wants to get back to where they were as far as how 7 proved to be a success while many labeled 8 a flop! since MS rushed to strip things out to get that RT looking GUI in there! Big Mistake now finally being corrected with 10 and the intent of collecting as much data from feedback as possible to enhance things a bit with 10. They report to want to make 10 better then ever before? We'll see!
