I will use edge when it doesn't need UAC and have an extension I need
Well, then looks like I will use firefox/chrome forever

When extensions I use become available and when they allow me to import my favourites from Firefox I might give it a go, until then it's as useful to me as IE is....which is useless.

In some of the latest builds/insider FF bookmarks were imported by themselves. I didn't have to do anything and there they were! Nice addition.

Well when seeing the latest Insider build upgrade over the 10240 VM here all Edge would prompt for was importing from IE which I had already pinned as well as imported Waterfox bookmarks(same fashion as FF) into IE there by remote access to the VM from the host OS. It also picked up on some not even seen for years! Those apparently were buried deep in the collection and not seen in the Favorites or bookmarks bar on either browser but were gotten from IE on the 10565 build.

Totally agree. It does not help when a "store" is offering up malware and PUPs. What's wrong with this picture?

That second app installs ask and aol tool bars, not too horrible, but it also redirects to another page to download the true extension, with who knows what accompanying it. This is not the 1st time I have seen this from Chrome.

Never an issues with FF. I just hope that when Edge does have extensions, they allow installation from the author's site, not just the store, unless they run a very tight ship.

I can say one thing I don't care for the looks of that place! The more addons means the more exposure! You are then opening things up for potential hacking if not other bugs. Back when running XP to help with IE 6's vulnerabilities I would see a security toolbar added which in the long run didn't amount to sqat! Sand boxing, web filtering, and "Plain Old Common Sense" are what will get you further!

I started using Edge as my main browser while I'm in Win 10 TP. I was using Pale Moon as my main Browser. I got to thinking Win 10 TP is for testing and Edge is part of the testing so I switched. I'm getting more use to Edge but still prefer Pale Moon. This may change as Edge matures. :)

Well this is the thing! Even with the 10565 Insider build I just saw go on a VM Edge still is not as complete. Pale Moon is a rather non bloated browser there which is still 32bit however. But can easily work out as a secondary when using it as the primary.

I only pinned the 64bit IE shortcut up and run with Waterfox 64bit variant of FF which does offer a bit more stability overall then FF! Going from version to version the transition is also a bit smoother for each newer release.

Edge is far from being finished. IMHO, MS should have waited before releasing Edge to the RTM build.
