I just use the cascading menu bar in Firefox, like I have for years(In IE too!), another thing I don't like about Edge it doesn't have one. Chrome doesn't have one but it has the cascading hamburger menu. I just like cascade menus, probably why I like using the Desktop Toolbar in the taskbar too...

I do not see a cascading menu in Firefox any release of it.

1. Right click at very top choose menu bar.

You have to USE CTR and a Theme. Fx's Default Theme sucks.

@Gary it's just one of four browsers I use(mainly for Hello) as backups when IE starts gettin' funny. But When I use a Linux distro, it's my only browser...

Same as the preview thumbnails in the taskbar of any open program/app. With Edge it only shows the thumbnail of the tab being viewed on the Taskbar no matter how many tabs, whereas IE previews thumbnails of all tabs there no matter what tab is being viewed. I think that's why they added the preview thumbnails on tabs with Edge.

I will start using Linux again after the upcoming update on Nov 2nd..Maybe. It is the only browser I use, have been since it was called Phoenix.

You bring up a very good point about browsers or any software getting bloated. I think MS wants to keep Edge lean and mean. The only way to make IE better (or any browser) was more add-ons. That's not secure as we know. Edge is sand boxed just as Chrome.

Browsers are, of course, for browsing the web. There are now Store apps for sites such as Farcebook, eBay, newegg, Wikipedia, Maps, etc. Why use a browser when we have apps? It's all about safer computing. Windows gets hacked via holes in browsers more so than anything else. Sandboxing is the way to go IMO.

The only thing I do not like about Firefox is it's still on of the few browsers that doesn't sandbox, but that's changing soon, when they go Chrome. For me it is almost like using IE except with more options but sadly less safe(no sandbox).

I use 64bit Enhanced protected Mode in IE and therefore sandboxed. The only problem is then I have problems with certain sites, then I switch to Chrome. The right tool for the right job
