Today I watched a couple of YouTube vids on Edge, and I must say, they ran better with that than my Chrome 64bit.

And I tried downloading with it(hadn't done that yet) and it was Damn fast!
I know Edge is fast and runs better
That is why I use it 100%

That is your choice, to say it is better and faster is simply your opinion.

I won't be using Microsoft Edge any time soon. Or almost never. I just can't let my fire breathing pet fox get away. She keeps me secure, under the hood..... and most importantly I can make her wear anything she wants. She looked like this for Halloween. :P

That is why I post that it is a matter of Choice. I choose to use Firefox and I will continue to do so until Edge becomes better than Firefox. On that day I will consider it.
Except for WMP in a couple of functions, I've yet to find any app included in Windows that can't be easily beaten by one or more free third party programs. I doubt that's likely to change in my lifetime.

That's probably not the idea either. I think Microsoft wants to make sure people have the basics. For example to write a letter or something simple like a job application, Word Pad is enough. If you just want to resize and crop a picture, maybe even create a simple meme, paint is enough. I believe it's just about basic tools. I have used Linux distros where you only got the operating system, but had to install the desktop(yup you didn't even have a desktop then), programs, apps and customizations yourself, it was Arch Linux. So be happy with what candy you get, it's not all Reeses Pieces, it might just be the Candy Corn, but it's better than nothing.

That is if you like Candy Corn. I like candy corn but I don't like Reeses Pieces but I like Reeses peanut butter cups. I actually like this new thing called Oreo's mini with Reeses peanut butter. I am willing to try or taste new things but if I don't like it, I won't eat it. Even though I use Windows 10 on occasion, I don't feel comfortable with it, especially with some of the verified privacy issues. It is not as bad as I originally thought but there are still some issues in my opinion. My main issue I notice, even with most privacy setting turned off windows 10 still uses data, when I am not using the computer and not just at night.

@groze when I look at your specs
    Keyboard USB
    Mouse USB
    Hard Drives 500 GB
    Internet Speed Economy
    Browser Main Browser Firefox 37.0.2
    Antivirus MSE
With all the background broadband stuff going on all the "extras" in Windows 8 or 10 probably wouldn't be a good choice for you, even if there was no issue with privacy. On Windows 7 you can turn off everything that sends data, like sending Reliability history error reports among other things, which helps save bandwidth.

When I start getting pop-ups when changing a default, then I will DEFINITELY Make the change! I can't stand pushy people or pushy tactics. "Oh come on give it a try, you might just like it"- Sounds like peer pressure to smoke that 1st cigarette(or something stronger) to me
