I think that the update was aimed at the insiders it's to be expected on a regular basis. This is a testing build and not the stable RTM.

Absolutely . . . that's why we're told not to use a production machine for betas. :)

I have a separate internal drive for my data and other things. I'm a brave bunny but not a dumb one.

Happy I came off Insider builds before this update.
I'm only running one PC at the moment so bought a SSD and did a clean install of RTM 10240. I'd always considered this buggy but after the clean install it's running like a dream.
Still I'm missing the Insider builds but until something really different comes along I'll stay with what I've got.

The Secure Boot is the issue.. not fast boot.
