Same employee (Jason) and he states it clearly at the end of that post:
KB3105208 has been pulled from the WU server, so when your machine scans for updates again, this update will not be re-offered to your machine. You'll be in the clear.
Since this has been a day from hades, just one more to add to the mix. I replied to you when you gave me the last link, Cyber, but I don't have a clue as to where it went . . . somewhere off into the ether, I guess. Sigh . . .
I was just reading about it a minute ago, so I'll go back and read the edit.
Thanks very much.
I finally finished the post; however, that's not the end of the problem as I see it.
There will be one heckuva lot of us who have gone in and disabled Secure Boot, but because KB3105208 is still there, it will continue to do its dirty work if we just re-enable Secure Boot.
So, what we'll need to do is to uninstall KB3105208, and then re-enable Secure Boot.
Because I was one of the first to install KB3105208 yesterday, I didn't have the information that was later available, so went through three reinstalls because I didn't know which KB was causing the issue. I don't think I'll be the only one in this position!
The ability to move the Taskbar has existed as long as the Taskbar itself. Yet, MS has never been able to make it work as it should. MS own programs (Hyper-V vm, WMP and so on) open by default the left top corner being in position 0, 0, top left behind the taskbar if you have moved it to be vertical at left of the display.
The same with some notifications like in the screenshot here a notification from Skype:
Here's WMP as it opens by default on my display, partly hidden behind the Taskbar
I know it's only cosmetics but would be nice if they got this fixed.
