I have the same failure to boot problem. I did a system restore to get the computer to boot. When I got back into Windows TP I switched to the slow ring to stop the update from reinstalling. When I get home I'll check my bios settings and try again.

I'm not completely sure, but I don't think switching to the slow ring will solve the issue. Neither will Defer Upgrades as I learned much to my chagrin. The Fast/Slow Rings are only for new builds and so is Defer Upgrade.

About the only thing that's gonna save our bacon is to go into BIOS and disable Secure Boot and leave it off until Gabe Aul announces a solution.
