As you may already know, not everybody is using a tablet, let alone a Windows tablet which is too pricey. Most Microsoft's customers use a traditional desktop PC. And Windows 10 is a desktop OS, so it should give priority to desktop computers, not tablets! Nobody said to remove the Settings app. Let it there for tablet mode or anyone wanting to use it. But also let the old Control Panel for everyone else! Even if the Settings app adopts all the controls and renders Control Panel obsolete, why remove it? Let it the for compatibility sake! Nobody forces others to use the Control Panel, they are free to use the Settings app if they want. But please don't force us use the Settings app! At least not until all controls have migrated to the Settings app. For the time being there are several controls not yet available. Make them available first, and then we'll reconsider.
