    That was my point with this thread. I am unsure if Microsoft really take every setting from the old CP and move it to "Setting-app". MS does not like when _you_ mess around with Windows

    Also IMHO the settings app is dreadful insofar as it for those parts that have been moved over, the level of control available has been lost (just try to control the Task Bar Notification Icons so they only pop to the Task Bar when there's a Notification, or there's a device that can be ejected). I wouldn't mind so much the move to the settings app if they'd actually fully ported the CPL functionality, but they haven't.

    Cliff, I'm very well aware of the setting app page you showed. It DOES NOT provide the full function that was available in Windows 7 which is why I said what I did.

    I personally do it the old school way, to hide or show, I just drag and drop, and for notifications, I change those in each programs options
