Mine took about 45 minutes but I'd expect it's all down to connection speed and demand now.
I suppose there isn't any way to see the progress or an ETA?

Took 15mins... I think it restarted 3 or 4 times installing and setting up like a new install.

You will have to manually click "Install Now" after download. I think it's like a 2GB update (just a wild guess)..

The update broke my shared folders.
I had 2 shares, can get one working by diagnosing, but can't get the other one to show up...
I had to make sharing changes in the Host so VMware Shared Folders will work now.
I didn't need the Host Sharing before this update.

Okay, my internet has been running a little slow lately so it's probably going to take a little longer than 15 min to download.

Something I really like, Previous Versions is back! Looks as if MS does listen the users :).

Start to finish on my 1.6Ghz Acer laptop took almost 2 hours. First startup after install is taking almost an hour.
Definitely need some kind of progress dialog.

Update increased Windows footprint by about 30GB!

Mine increased about 6 GB.
There is a windows.old folder that can be deleted.
