What key was that? As far as I know, the first TP didn't need a key for enterprise or Pro - automatically activated.
On the activate Windows screen through the charms bar, under Your product key info, it lists the last 5 characters of the key in use. This does not match what's listed on MSDN. You don't have to enter a key but one is used to do the install, it's just entered automatically.
My error code is 0x8007007B, I'm only just looking it up now.
Just to clarify this, everyone can download and install Technical Preview Enterprise regardless if MSDN account and / or subscription or not at Windows 10 Technical Preview for Enterprise | TechNet Evaluation Center
To download you have to register but joining the Insider Program as required for Technical Preview Pro is not required.

From a consumer's point of view the differences are marginal. Of course we don't yet know how the final editions of Windows 10 will be but assuming Microsoft continues as they did with Windows 8.1, there are a few differences. WMC cannot be installed on Enterprise, Enterprise supports RemoteFX virtualization, DirectAccess, NFS and can be used for Windows To Go and so on.
Windows Enterprise editions can only be activated with VLK as an opposite to product keys in consumer editions.
Apart from the WMC, the additional features in Enterprise edition are not needed by private users.
OK, I stand corrected, I went Enterprise because it has the Windows To Go option. So anybody else running it, and did you have activation issues like I did?
