They seem to completely miss though that the ASUS DSL-AC68U is one of the few VDSL modem routers on the market which makes it all the more special.
Never had a Belkin router... I do have AC1900 routers from Netgear, Linksys and ASUS. Belkin has owned Linksys since March 2013.

The EA6500 was the last Cisco made router which had tons of problems. The EA6900 was the replacement that was made under Belkin ownership. Ownership has nothing to do with it since only the real Cisco products are good and they have 4 digit price tags, all the stuff they acquired are not the same quality anyways. Belkin was the one who brought back the WRT under the Linksys name known as the WRT1900AC.
