I still have yet to ever use a Router , supposedly wired ethernet is going to be faster than wireless anyway and i don't find it burdensome at all .
I'm probably one of the few lol.

I have a Netgear WNDR4500 and am looking for something a little better but, to date, haven't been impressed, will look into the ones listed TechSpot.
asus ac68 + merlin fw = much love
Edit- Btw, if you have tmobile you can get one of these (ac68) for free with a $25 deposit. Just call and say you get crappy signal in your home. Wish this was available before i dropped $200 tbh
After reading that article and then checking user reviews on Amazon and Newegg I decided to order the TP Link C7. This router has gigabit Ethernet and (apparently) good 2.4 gHz WiFi coverage for <$90. It's not designed to stand on its' side, but it can be wall-mounted.
If you really want to be at the top of the Router food chain, this is the only way to go..
Wireless AC3200 Tri Band Gigabit Cloud Router DIR-890L | D-Link
Nah this one is meaner with a price to match lol. Anyone say overkill?
