I got my update via Office 365 last week, I am very happy with Word 2016, Outlook 2016, etc.

I have just noticed to my surprise that I have OneNote (probably 2013) AND OneNote 2016

    Anyone has both apps too?

As indicated, OneNote 2016 came with Office 365 2016 while Plain Vanilla OneNote came with Windows 10. Probably installed from the Store.

I checked and it tells me an update is available, but when I tried it, I got the old familiar "Something Went Wrong" notice. So I'll wait a bit to see what happens.

Edit: I checked again this morning and I still get it.

Thanks, I did not see it mentioned before! I have uninstalled the plain vanilla version, I just need the 2016 version :)

Edit: I notice that I have an online version of OneNote too! I can't seem to get rid of it, as it appears to be redundant, but it does not seem to interfere with anything either.

    Hello :)

I am a bit confused, so I'd like to ask you the following question:

    - Do I have the latest version of Office 2016 or not? Is my Office 2016 fully up to date?

When I check for updates it says that I am fully up to date.

    Thank you.

Yep, looks like it to me.

Mine still hasn't updated. I may have to go to My Account and re-download.

    Thank you, magilla and Wynona

Just to fully understand this then, why are the two versions shown in my screenshot different and what does "First release for current branch" stand for?

    Thank you!
