I clicked on Update Options and then clicked on Update Now. It updated for me.

However, it might be that since I was on the Technical Preview, I'll always be one or two builds ahead of "public".

I think that at some point, we'll be asked to regroup and test some stuff. Or not. Who knows?

OMG, I have the Prof Plus version. My build is 16.0.4266.1003.
When I click on the Update Options, it returns with 'Up to date!'

Update: Posted too quick! Just realized the third number is 4266 instead 4229. LOL

I think that's the number from your MSDN copy.

Late news (I know from experience) is that when installing Office 365 you may be asked to activate; however, when you click on the link to activate, it says, "We're sorry, but something went wrong and we can't do this for you right now. Please try again later. Then you get the error number 0x8004FC12."
Windows 10 Build 10565 released Monday, October 12 seems to have fixed the problem listed above!

I have installed Office 365 2016 ProPlus on Lappy 15 with Build 10565 and didn't have a problem at all. I've just finished installing Office 365 2016 ProPlus on Lappy 17 and it worked like clockwork.

I downloaded the click to run, and ran it again. I ended up with the same build as snoopy51. It's the RTM build number, not MSDN.

    Hi Dude:

Are you running O365 2013 or O365 2016? And are you sure it's not 4229.1030? It seems that new builds are coming out every few days now. I'm up to 4229.1033 now. Which is the current Build for those of us who were on the Technical Preview.

I think Snoopy really wound up with 4229 rather than 4266.

Wow, Dude! That's wild, to say the least.

It doesn't tell me whether it's 2013 or 2016, so let me ask:

When you downloaded/installed, did you scroll down to the bottom of the page and see "Install Office with the new 2016 Apps" or something like that?
